PURPOSE: A device for driving a movable object is provided to obtain the operating characteristic surely and in an optimal state using the elastic supporting force an engaging unit by a rack and a gear since the saw teeth of the rack and the gear are engaged at predetermined positions by a position determining unit at all times. CONSTITUTION: In a device for driving a movable object, the movable object moves between a first position and a second position of a base(1) through the engaging of a rack and a gear to the base. The movable object comprises an elastic supporting unit which is separated from a gear. While the gear rotates in one direction, the elastic supporting force is accumulated on the elastic supporting unit. The gear rotates by the elastic supporting force in other direction and moves the movable object to one side. To assemble the movable object to the base, a position determining unit is provided, which makes the saw teeth of the rack and the gear engaged by the operation of the movable object following the base. The position determining unit comprises a concave part and a convex part(19), or the saw teeth(14a) and a hanging part(54a). |
