MANUFACTURING METHOD OF LIQUEFIED POWDER MILK AND POWDER MILK COMPOSITION

PURPOSE: A method or manufacturing liquefied powder milk is provided to minimize damages to nutrients contained in the powder milk by performing a sterilization process at a low temperature, to economically manufacture the liquefied powder milk without heating the powder milk at 70°C or more, and to minimize the concentration of added caprylic acid. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing liquefied powder milk includes a step of sterilizing harmful microorganism by processing the liquefied powder milk containing capryllic acid at 45-55°C. The concentration of the caprylic acid is 5-30 Mm per 10 mL of the liquefied powder milk. The sterilization step is performed for 10-120 minutes. A processing temperature is 50-55°C. A dried milk composition having excellent sterilizing power contains 0.5-3.05 weight% of the caprylic acid.
