PURPOSE: A modem device using universal serial bus is provided to prevent damage of host device and reduce power consumption at the same time. CONSTITUTION: A phy unit decodes by receiving request of a host(100). A modem transceives data which is decoded in the phy unit. A power control unit controls power which is supplied to the phy unit and the modem. If an idle mode request is received from the host, the power control unit blocks the power which is supplied to the phy unit and modem. |
