PURPOSE: An image calibration apparatus and a method for an electrical sign board are provided to implement a high quality image by controlling the uniformity of the image outputted from the electrical sign board. CONSTITUTION: A camera unit(1) takes a photograph of an image which is outputted from an electrical sign board. An image processing unit(2) process the image to detect the correction current applied to the electrical sign board. A screen division unit(21) divides the inputted image. A deviation calculator(22) calculates the deviation between an original color coordinate and colors at portioned region. A display panel controller(3) at least controls the display panel in reference to a correction current.
