PURPOSE: An electric cooker and a control method of the same are provided to enable a user to recognize the heat states of a heating source in a heating operation controlling process. CONSTITUTION: An electric cooker comprises a power supply part(10), a heating source(40) and a heating source driving part(20). The heat source operates a heating process using the power source from the power supply part. The heating source driving part drives the heating source at a preset driving level. The upper heating source driving part alternatively performs electric power supply and cut off. The heating source driving part operates the heating source according to a driving level.
