PURPOSE: A method for molding an asymmetrical PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate) bottle is provided to prevent the unbalanced thickness distribution by differentiating the elongation rate in vertical and horizontal directions. CONSTITUTION: A method for molding an asymmetrical PET bottle is as follows. A preform body(P2) is heated by rotating a preform(P) and the heated preform is carried to a mold(100). Compressed cooling air is sprayed through an air nozzle(N) of a vertical extension rod(R2) to the inner surface of the preform body and the preform body is partly cooled so as to induce temperature deviation according to part. The vertical extension rod descends to vertically extend the preform body and compressed air of high pressure is sprayed to the preform in order to horizontally extend the preform. Second compressed air is sprayed to the preformed bottle. Resin is stretched to the surface of the mold so a PET bottle(BTL) is completed.
