The device has a safety hook (1) mounted on a slide plate (2) and blocking opening of a floating shutter (3) of a swimming pool. An operating cable or an operating rod (4) processes transmission of movements to permit lifting or lowering of the safety hook for locking the hook on a cleat (5). An end of the operating rod is connected to a clamp (10) with a small return spring (12). A side of the clamp is fixed on a piston of a single-acting jack (6) i.e. hypodermic syringe. An adjustable abutment member is placed at top of the clamp, and limits travel of the piston of the jack.
