The method involves forming a hole in a part of a closed container e.g. champagne bottle, where the part is chosen from a group comprising capsule, cap and neck. A label carrying an anti-copy mark is formed. The label is associated with the part to seal the hole. The label is adhered on the container through the hole of the part. A single identifier and a microtext are printed on the label during formation of the label. An independent claim is also included for a device for protecting a closed container containing a product, comprising a label adhering unit.
