The device has a control assembly (10) integrated with a wireless radiofrequency module and equipped with a battery providing electric power for operation of the module. The assembly comprises a switch (13) for activating module to transmit a wireless radiofrequency signal. A wireless signal adapter is integrated with a bicycle accessory i.e. warning light, where the device is arranged such that the signal is transmitted without interruption after actuation of the switch and corresponding control functions are actuated simultaneously after the accessory receives the signal via the adapter. The control assembly operates in coordination with a warning module i.e. buzzer, an LED or a combination of the buzzer and the LED.
