The device (5) has an acquisition unit (19) acquiring a checking event and connected to a radiofrequency unit (15). A mobile telephony unit (11) transmits a message transporting information relative to the checking event. A control and calculation unit (25) transmits or receives the message by the radiofrequency unit in parallel to execution of telephonic communication by the mobile telephony unit. The acquisition unit detects presence of radio frequency identification tag at any instant. The acquisition unit is connected to an antenna (21).
