The method involves estimating geographical coordinates (X1, Y1, X2, Y2) of a mobile terminal (1) that is held by a user, at level of the mobile terminal from signals captured from geolocation satellites, and transmitting the estimated geographical coordinates of the mobile terminal from the mobile terminal to a location center (4).
