COLD CATHODE FLORESCENT LAMP AND BACKLIGHT UNIT OF LIQUID CRTSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A cold cathode florescent lamp and a backlight unit of a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to reduce costs for manufacturing the back light unit without capacitor by including a cylindrical charging unit instead of a capacitor. CONSTITUTION: A discharge gas is filled in a glass tube(206). A fluorescent material(208) is arranged on the inner wall of the glass tube. An internal electrode(202) is arranged on inner both sides of the glass tube. A cylindrical charging unit(210) surrounds the both sides of the glass tube and is electrically connected with an inner electrode.
