AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM, AUTHENTICATION METHOD, AND TEMPORARY PASSWORD ISSUING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user authentication technology for reducing a labor on a user who uses a service.

SOLUTION: A call control means manages the presence/absence of a service contact of each user, and permits the connection of a call for temporary password issue called from the user under such conditions that the service contract of the user has been made. A temporary password issuing means issues a temporary password based on a user input in the call permitted by the call control means. When the user tries to use a service, an authentication means performs user authentication by using the temporary password commonly issued by the temporary password issuing means or an actual password set after the input of the temporary password regardless of the type of the service.
