PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup type beverage vending machine capable of preventing milled tea leaves from being scattered. SOLUTION: The cup type beverage vending machine includes: a tea leaf storage container for storing tea leaves; a leaf tea mill 42 for milling the tea leaves supplied from the tea leaf storage container; a leaf tea brewer 43 for extracting leaf tea beverage by pouring hot water to the milled tea leaves supplied from the leaf tea mill 42. The machine also includes: a mill chute 423, connected to the leaf tea mill 42, for supplying the milled tea leaves from the leaf tea mill 42 to the leaf tea brewer 43; and a filter case 434 and a cover 435 for covering a part between the leaf tea mill 42 and the leaf tea brewer 43 to surround the mill chute 423.
