<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system capable of normally receiving only targeted radio waves without erroneously receiving radio waves from another radio communication system, which does not have to be originally received and is generated by radio wave reflection by a vehicle, or the like, resulting from radio communication of road/vehicle communication, and to provide a radio communication method, an in-vehicle unit and a communication method of the in-vehicle unit. <P>SOLUTION: In a safety driving support system in which roadside radio equipment provides information about safety driving support by mounting the in-vehicle unit on a vehicle and performing communication using radio waves with the roadside radio equipment installed at a roadside, the in-vehicle unit sets an use frequency in a frequency of targeted roadside radio equipment ahead during traveling by previously receiving the use frequency included in map information for in-vehicle navigation distributed from the roadside radio equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
