<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly and easily designate whether particular diary data should be disclosed or not. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A server receives from a user's terminal device the diary data described on a background derived from either background data for disclosure or background data for non-disclosure prepared as background data of the same content. The server stores the diary data received from the terminal device in a storage unit, and manages whether or not the diary data will be disclosed to other users depending on whether or not the background data will be disclosed.
