<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blindfold extensible/contractible fence of a base isolation structure using a pantograph mechanism and capable of using a fixed shaft for mounting a vertical rail and a slide shaft in one and the same mounting manner. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The vertical rail 145 is provided with a blindfold member 50, which is composed of a blindfold part 51 on one side formed in one side direction and a blindfold part 52 on the other side formed in the other side direction from the vertical rail 145. The blindfold part 51 on one side is formed to become the same surface as an outer surface of the vertical rail 145, and the blindfold part 52 on the other side is formed to become the same surface as an inner surface of the vertical rail 145. The blindfold part 51 on one side is arranged to be positioned on an outer side more than the blindfold part 52 on the other side in the direction of the fixed shaft 143a.
