PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture frame capable of preventing color changing or fading of thin items such as a poster, a photograph, a picture, a certificate, or the like, or a jigsaw puzzle housed in it, preventing the jigsaw puzzle from sticking to a back board, enabling the back board to be usable as a piece assembling board, and providing the back board with the function of a next (frame) necessary for an oil painting picture. SOLUTION: The picture frame is formed of an outer frame, and a transparent cover sheet and the back board to be housed in the outer frame. The transparent cover sheet is composed of material capable of prohibiting more than 95% of transmission of UV-ray. On the surface of the back board, peelable varnish is applied, or lamination is provided. The back board also includes projecting outline members on its circumferential edge parts. The outline members are composed of four rod members, and each rod member is provided with an adhesive surface on one side surface, with releasable paper applied to the adhesive surface.
