Porous carbon in which the three-dimensional network structure is maintained and the pore diameter of the mesopores or micropores can be easily controlled, and a process for producing the porous carbon. The process is characterized by comprising the step of mixing a polyamic acid resin (1) as a carbon precursor with magnesium oxide (2) as template particles, the step of heat-treating the mixture in a nitrogen atmosphere at 1,000ºC for 1 hour to pyrolyze the polyamic acid resin, and the step of washing the resultant sample with a 1 mol/L sulfuric acid solution to dissolve away the MgO.
|
