<p>Disclosed is a novel production method for an amorphous red phosphor. An amorphous red phosphor represented by the general formula M1xEuySiO2+x+1.5y (wherein M1 is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr, and Ba, and 0.6 ? x + 1.5y ? 0.9) and a production method for the amorphous red phosphor represented by the general formula M1xEuySiO2+x+1.5y (wherein M1 is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ca, Sr, and Ba, and 0.6 ? x + 1.5y ? 0.9) are characterized by firing a phosphor precursor obtained through a solution method at 800 - 930°C.</p> |
