<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail for a veranda equipped with a solar cell panel which enables photovoltaic power generation on a balcony or the veranda of a detached house, a multiple dwelling house or the like, which can be used as the handrial for the veranda or a fence, and which can improve convenience in construction or maintenance. <P>SOLUTION: The handrail for the veranda includes: a handrail panel 1 having the solar cell panel 11 and a frame 12 for supporting the solar cell panel 11; a plurality of supports 2 for detachably supporting the handrail panel 1 by their sides; and a handrail pipe 3 mounted to the supports 2. At least the frame of the handrail panel 1 and a main part of the support 2 are made of an aluminum alloy. The support 2 has a hollow part.
