<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head for increasing the amount of protrusion of elements with less amount of heat as possible. <P>SOLUTION: A magnetic head B includes elements 18, 12 for recording or reproducing to/from a magnetic disk, and a heat generation part 14 for causing the elements 18, 12 to thermally protrude close to a surface of the magnetic disk.In the magnetic head B, a pair of grooves 30 for dividing a peripheral area S0 of the elements 18, 12 are formed along the protruding direction so as to be separated from an outside area S1 on both sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
