<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device that secures reliability and suppresses energy loss, to provide a light emitting device unit, and to provide a method of manufacturing the light emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 100 includes a light emitting device unit 120 having a substrate 131, a semiconductor light emitting element 121 arranged on the substrate 131, and a resistor 122 connected to the semiconductor light emitting element 121.
