<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of saving a space around an electric power switch, simplifying an operating part and securely mounting the electric power switch to a body and having excellent design performance. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power switch 28 turned on/off by pressing operation is provided in the heating cooker for heating a heated cooking appliance storing foodstuff. The electric power switch 28 includes a contact 48 for conducting or blocking between at least two terminals 52, a housing 38 storing the contact 48, and a button 44 mounted to the housing 38 so as to be liftable/lowerable and applying pressing force during the pressing operation. A light emitting device 46 is stored in the housing 38, and a light transmission window part 86 for displaying the conducting state to the body by lighting of light is formed on the button 44. A waterproof projection 82 is formed on the outer face of the button 44, and a wall 92 for surrounding the electric power switch 28 is formed in an electric power switch mounting part 32b.
