PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance of a decoder by inserting a known doping bit sequence to an information bit sequence to be transmitted between a transmission apparatus and a receiving device even in a system with a determined encoder configuration.

SOLUTION: The transmission apparatus for transmitting a radio signal to the receiving device includes: a doping unit 23 for inserting the known doping bit sequence to the information bit sequence to be transmitted to the receiving device between the transmission apparatus and the receiving device; encoding units 11a, 11b for performing error correction encoding with respect to the bit sequence with the doping bit sequence inserted thereto; a puncture unit for performing puncturing with respect to the bit sequence wherein error correction encoding is performed; and a radio transmission unit 24 for transmitting the punctured bit series.
