PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce downshift essentially unnecessary when driving force demand is increased.
SOLUTION: Since when power-on downshift of an automatic transmission 10 following increase of the driving force demand, for example, accelerator stepping operation is determined, execution of the power-on downshift is inhibited while actual driving force F is approaching target driving force F*, even if an accelerator pedal 52 is stepped further due to rising delay of the actual driving force F with respect to the target driving force F* in a transition state, if the actual driving force F is in a state of catching up with the target driving force F* and there is a possibility that it will reach while maintaining the present gear stage GS, the power-on downshift is not executed. Consequently, execution of the power-on downshift essentially unnecessary in further stepping of the accelerator pedal 52 can be reduced. That is, execution of power-on downshift unintended by a driver can be reduced.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
|
