NETWORK SETTING SYSTEM, NETWORK SETTING METHOD, AND PROGRAM THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly reduce the burden of a user when configuring various settings for connecting an information terminal to a network to use equipment connected to the network.

SOLUTION: A server SV performs authentication by reading a user ID and an encryption key from an IC card of the user using a connected IC card reader IC 3. If the authentication is successful, network setting information 81 is encrypted by the read encryption key and broadcast on a local area network LAN. On the other hand, a computer PC 1 connected to the local area network LAN performs login authentication by reading the user ID and the encryption key from the ID card of the user using the connected IC card reader IC 1 after receiving the broadcast. If the authentication is successful, the encrypted network setting information 81 is decoded with the read encryption key thus to configure the network.
