摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tracking with a better matching in time series, even in an unstable situation wherein object regions showing tracking objects overlap or division and in addition temporary disappearance, false detection of an object region sporadically occur, and consequently the detection results are unreliable. SOLUTION: A feature value calculation unit 101 calculates a feature value of an object region. A tentative tracking unit 102 associates object regions with one another for object images adjacent to each other in time series to carry out tentative tracking of the object regions. A final tracking unit 103 obtains final tracking results with a good matching according to, for example, majority rule on the basis of the tentative tracking results. Accordingly, tracking of the object region is achieved with a better matching in time series, even in an unstable situation wherein object regions showing tracking objects overlap or division and in addition temporary disappearance, false detection of an object region sporadically occur, and consequently the detection results are unreliable.
