<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording device that surely returns a recording paper to a reverse path when recording on both sides, and smoothly carries without causing damage on the recording paper. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A path switching section 41 is disposed in the middle of a carrying path. The path switching section 41 changes posture between a first posture and a second posture. The path switching section 41 has a first roller 45 and a second roller 46. The path switching section 41 with the first posture permits the recording paper to be discharged along the carrying path. The path switching section 41 with the second posture guides the recording paper to a reverse guide section. A biasing force adjusting mechanism adjusting a biasing force of the second roller 46 to the first roller 45 is provided.
