<p>The present invention discloses a method for allocating traffic channel resources, which includes: receiving a route update message from a terminal (101), the said route update message includes route update information of the terminal; transmitting an A16 session hand-off request message to a target Access Network (AN), the said A16 session hand-off request message includes the said route update information and the channel frequency point information used by the terminal currently (102); receiving the A16 session hand-off response message sent from the said target AN, the said A16 session hand-off response message includes the traffic channel resources information allocated for the terminal by the said target AN according to the route update information and the channel frequency point information used by the terminal currently. Besides, the present invention also discloses a traffic channel resources allocation network element, with the method and network element provided by the present invention above, the target AN can allocate the traffic channel resources to the terminal according to the channel frequency point information reported by the terminal, thus the hand-off success ratio is improved largely.</p> |
