PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, an image forming method, a program, and a recording medium, which reduce memory consumption when having a copy and a printer functions. SOLUTION: A common part exists between reference patterns used by ACC of copy and ACC of printer. The memory consumption required for ACC is reduced by consolidating the reference patterns used by the ACC of copy and the ACC of printer to make one common part, that is, by setting one common reference pattern for the ACC of copy and the ACC of printer.
