PURPOSE: A system and a method for forming an Enhanced Geothermal System group using a fault zone are provided to remarkably reduce required costs by cost-efficiently forming an EGS group. CONSTITUTION: A method for forming an Enhanced Geothermal System group using a fault zone is as follows. An open hole section of a production well is arranged in a fault core of an inactive fault zone. Open hole sections of an injection well are arranged in a fault damage zone or a host rock of the fault zone to complete boring. Natural fracture zones formed in the fault zone are expanded by performing hydraulic-fracturing. An artificial fracture zone is created in the host rock when necessary.
