A method for forming a fibrous paper web from papermaking fibers is disclosed for use in conjunction with a through air dried papermaking machine. A wet tissue web is formed on a forming fabric; the wet tissue web is then carried to a dewatering pressure nip and compressed between papermaking felt and a particle belt such that the wet tissue web is dewatered to a defined consistency, transferred to the surface of the particle belt, and transferred thence to a texturizing fabric. The wet tissue web is subsequently through air dried. |
