<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller for keeping a signal processing speed in a CPU at a desired speed in response to I/O points, and concurrently suppressing unnecessary power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The programmable controller 1 gradually decreases the frequency of an original clock to be used for frequency setting in the operation clock of the CPU 3 in response to the decrease of the I/O points when the I/O points are reduced to be equal to or less than a fixed number, and performs multiplication in response to the increase when the points are increased to be equal to or more than a fixed number, thereby adjusting the frequency of the operation clock of the CPU 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
