<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slaked lime having high reactivity and low adhesiveness, when used for discharge gas treatment in a garbage incineration plant, whose adhesiveness to apparatus such as slaked lime conveyance piping and a bag filter cloth is reduced while maintaining high reactivity with acidic gas, a bag filter or the like is reduced, and which causes no troubles, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding the slaked lime having high reactivity and low adhesiveness, in a carbonation reaction test (in which slaked lime is dispersed into water, so as to form slurry of 5 wt.%, carbon dioxide is blown therein at a rate of 640 mL/min while performing stirring at a high speed of 6,000 rpm, and the time till pH reduces to 11 is measured), the time till the pH reaches 11 is 10 to 20 min. As the raw material, quicklime in which 30 s value in a hydration activity test decided in ASTM C110 is≤60°C, and also,ΔT<SB>2</SB>=180 s value -30 s value is≥15°C is used.
