<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition having excellent controlling effect on pests. <P>SOLUTION: Hydrazide compounds expressed by formula (1) [wherein G represents a group expressed by either one of formulas G-1 to G-3; M represents an oxygen atom or the like; Q<SP>1</SP>, Q<SP>2</SP>, Q<SP>3</SP>and Q<SP>4</SP>are the same or different and represent N or CR<SP>3</SP>; m represents either one of integers of 0-5; R<SP>2</SP>represents a 1-6C alkyl which may be substituted with one or more halogen atoms; R<SP>5</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>are the same or different and represent a 1-12C chain hydrocarbon which may be substituted with a group selected from a group E1; R<SP>4</SP>represents a 1-12C chain hydrocarbon which may be substituted with a group selected from the group E1] are provided.
