<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag permanently operating by use of faint electromotive force of a thermoelectric conversion element. <P>SOLUTION: This active RFID tag includes a redundant circuit including first and second circuit blocks as a power supply mechanism thereof. The first and second circuit blocks are alternately and exclusively connected to the thermoelectric conversion element and a booster circuit. A plurality of electric double layer capacitors included in each circuit block are connected to the thermoelectric conversion element in parallel and are connected to the booster circuit in series, so that drive voltage of the RFID tag can be generated even from the faint electromotive force of the thermoelectric conversion element in a short time, and it can be permanently supplied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
