PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lube oil composition that is excellent in a low-friction property, retention of the low-friction property during long-term service, stickiness to cast iron and stain resistance, in particular, a lube oil composition that is useful as a lube oil for a sliding guide surface. SOLUTION: The lube oil composition comprises a lubricating base oil and, incorporated therewith, (A) 0.01-2 mass%, based on the whole composition, of at least one phosphorus compound selected between an acidic phosphoric ester and a phosphite, (B) 0.01-2 mass%, based on the whole composition, of an aliphatic monoamine compound bearing one to three branched alkyl groups and/or branched alkenyl groups and (C) 0.001-0.5 mass%, based on the whole composition, of a polyamine compound.
