PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a sand pump to be installed in a position apart from an excavation hole when a cast-in-place pile is constructed. SOLUTION: The excavation system 10 is provided with an excavator 40, a stable liquid treatment plant 20, mud-delivery piping 111, and mud-discharging piping 112. The mud-delivery piping 111 delivers the stable liquid from the stable liquid treatment plant 20 to the excavator 40, and the mud-discharging piping 112 which is provided with the sand pump 113 at its middle portion delivers the stable liquid in the excavation hole 11 to the stable liquid treatment plant 20. A branch pipe 150 is provided above the space between the excavation hole 11 of the mud-discharging piping 112 and the sand pump 113, and a jet pump 151 is attached to the branch pipe 150. By starting the jet pump 151, air in the mud-discharging piping 112 is discharged to the outside, and the deterioration of a suction force of the sand pump 113 caused by the entry of the air into the piping can be prevented.
