PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of subjecting correct mask processing to a photographed image by correctly setting a region to be masked. SOLUTION: A mask region deciding section 110 obtains a projection image of a target 10, onto a photographed plane as a plane vertical to a line of sight direction as a mask shape, by using the shape data S6 of the target 10, information S4 of the direction of the target 10 and information S2 in the line of sight direction of a camera 102. The section 110 decides a mask region in the imaged image based on the mask shape and the position of the target 10. In this way, since the mask region is decided without executing pattern recognition of the image, the excellent mask region can be set without causing erroneous setting of the mask region owing to an error in pattern recognition and an increase in operation scale by the pattern recognition.
