<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shovel for scattering baits which enables the scattering baits to be packed in a scattering baits' cage quickly and in a constant amount by one-handed finger operation alone. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The shovel is such that: the inside of the grip thereof includes an extrusion plate head and a spoon cover 2 to always enable a constant amount of baits to be secured; also, the end of the spoon 1 is made to project and provided with guide function in injecting scattering baits to facilitate to extract baits into an exclusive cage; further, as an auxiliary function in operating respective pistons 4 and 5, predetermined positions on the reverse side of the body base A are provided with projections Q and R for hooking fingers thereon, thus enabling the baits to be packed quickly by one-handed finger operation alone.
