摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical unit capable of achieving accurate adjustment between the optical axes of respective optical units incorporated in a compound eye imaging apparatus, and also capable of suppressing thickness of the compound eye imaging apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The first optical unit 10A and the second optical unit 10B are coupled to constitute the optical unit 10 for a compound eye imaging apparatus. The first optical unit 10A and the second optical unit 10B are provided with coupling parts 18A and 18B for coupling each other integrally in the lens barrels thereof. The coupling parts 18A and 18B are provided with reference surfaces A and B required when adjusting and inspecting the optical axis. Thus, the optical axis of the optical unit is adjusted relative to the reference surface A of the coupling part 18A and the reference surface B of the coupling part 18B. By bonding the reference surfaces of the coupling parts of the respective optical units after adjusting the optical axis, an error in assembly between the optical axes of the optical units can be decreased.
