<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine whether a tri-port type constant-velocity joint making up a driving force transmission mechanism is assembled properly or improperly. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A driving force is applied to the driving force transmission mechanism configured such that a properly assembled tri-port type constant-velocity joint is connected with both ends of a drive shaft, and after an elapse of a prescribe time, its rotation is stopped. A decrement amount of a rotational torque value of the drive shaft is measured in a period starting just after stopping the rotation. Similarly, a decrement amount of a rotational torque in a driving force transmission mechanism configured such that a tri-port type constant-velocity joint assembled improperly on one side or both sides is connected therewith, is measured. Then a decrement amount of a rotational torque in an object driving force transmission mechanism to be tested is checked, and this decrement amount is compared with the decrement amounts measured previously.
