PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game medium dispensing device and game medium dispensing system in which a mode of playing a game by thrown-in coins and a mode of playing a game by a valuable value managed by a game medium dispensing device and/or managing device are aptly switched, even if it is case where game medium dispensing device and/or managing device are made to manage valuable value. SOLUTION: In the game medium dispensing system, when coins are thrown into a coin throw-in port within a predetermined time from a start of non-contact communication between a identification information reading device 134 and a non-contact memory 111, valuable value data according to the amount of coins thrown into the coin throw-in port and identification information acquired by the identification information reading device 134 are transmitted from the identification information reading device 134 to a management device. When coins are not thrown into the coin throw-in port even a predetermined time has elapsed from the time point of starting the non-contact communication between the identification information reading device 134 and the non-contact memory 111, only identification information is transmitted from a sandwiched machine 9 to the management device.
