PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for preventing change of amplitude of sound signal and preventing elongation of amplitude of noise without requiring enormous computation processings and an expensive high speed processing circuit. SOLUTION: The processor for processing inputted sound signals has a detection means for detecting amplitude of the inputted sound signal, a determining means for comparing the amplitude detected by the detection means with a threshold value and determining that a component smaller than the threshold value is noise included in the sound signal, a control means for setting the threshold values being different depending on attribute of the inputted sound signal into the determining means, and an amplifying means for contracting or extending the inputted sound signal while changing gain in accordance with the amplitude detected by the detection means and changing gain to prevent the component determined to be the noise by the determining means in the inputted sound signal from being extended.
