The absorber (2) has an elastically deformable absorbing part (10) arranged between shaft parts, where the shaft parts act on the absorbing part. One of the shaft parts has a sleeve (8) with an inwardly directed rotary dog, and the other shaft part has an inner part (9) with an outwardly directed rotary dog. The absorbing part is arranged between the sleeve and the inner part radially around an end area of the inner part. The rotary dogs are engaged in negative profiles (15, 16) of the absorbing part, where the absorbing part comprises an inhomogeneous structure and/or discontinuous geometry. An independent claim is also included for a drive shaft with connecting parts.
