<p>A method in a computer system of accurately predicting an impact of a change in one or more market conditions on a market includes obtaining a structure descriptive of hypothesized competitive interactions between a plurality of products in a market, where the structure is stored as first data on a computer readable medium, obtaining a set of financial parameters associated with the respective ones of the plurality of products, where the set of financial parameters is stored as second data on the computer readable medium, providing an interactive user interface, including providing a first control to receive data indicative of the change in the one or more market conditions, automatically estimating a response of the market to the change in the one or more market conditions based on at least the structure and the set of financial parameters to generate a set of quantitative market response descriptors, and displaying the set of quantitative market response descriptors on the interactive user interface.</p> |
