PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such an ink composition for use in inkjet as is capable of forming an image excellent in the blocking resistance.

SOLUTION: This ink composition for use in inkjet comprises the colored particles containing the pigment which is covered with a water-insoluble polymer dispersant, and the self-dispersible polymer particles containing the first polymer which contains a constitutional unit derived from a hydrophilic monomer and a constitutional unit derived from a hydrophobic monomer and which has a glass transition temperature of 150°C or above and an I/O value of 0.20 or more to 0.55 or less.
