<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing method by which a printed matter of a thick film with several tens of μ as silk printing has can be obtained while obtaining high precision and high accuracy as gravure printing has. Ž<P>SOLUTION: After charging an intaglio formed of silicone rubber with ink, the ink at a planar part of the intaglio is removed. At a concave part of the intaglio, evaporation 16 of a solvent in the ink and absorption 17 of the solvent to the intaglio imparts tacky adhesiveness and an aggregative property to the ink 11 and thereby 100% of the ink can be transferred onto a substrate 14.
