<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test tube holder which can hold a plurality of types of test tubes of different outside diameters and can provide improved assembling workability and improved durability because of its structural simplicity. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The test tube holder comprises a holder body 10 having a cylindrical hollow part 13, guide grooves 17 arranged circumferentially equidistantly in three positions of the cylinder wall 14 of the holder body, cam grooves 18 formed on each guide groove and obliquely upwardly slanting from the outer circumference of the cylinder wall to its inner circumference, a plurality of holder members 20 which can hold a plurality of types of test tubes T of different diameters intervening among the guide grooves in a manner freely movable vertically and radially and fitted into the cylindrical hollow part 13, cam pins 21 which are formed in each holder member and, in engagement with the cam groove, guide the holder members horizontally while guiding them radially, and push coil springs 23 which elastically push the holder members in the direction in which the holder members are pushed and push the holder members toward an upwardly inward direction of the cylinder wall.
